Welcome to Somerset Pickleball Club (SPC) (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By joining, using our website (www.SomersetPickleballClub.com), or participating in any club activities, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or participate in our events.
1. Membership & Participation
1.1 Membership is open to individuals of all skill levels, subject to club approval and fee payment.
1.2 Members must follow all club rules, regulations, and codes of conduct while using facilities or participating in events.
1.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships for rule violations, inappropriate behaviour, or failure to comply with these terms.
2. Court Use & Booking
2.1 Courts may be used only during designated sessions hours and must be booked in advance if required.
2.2 Members must respect other players and follow fair play guidelines.
2.3 The club is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
3. Fees, Payments & Refunds
3.1 Membership fees, event fees, and session booking fees (if applicable) must be paid as per the club’s pricing policy.
3.2 Refunds will only be issued in accordance with our refund policy, which is available on our website or upon request.
3.3 Fees are subject to change at the club’s discretion.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1 All members and guests must demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and courtesy toward other players, staff, and spectators.
4.2 Discrimination, harassment, or any form of inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
4.3 Members are responsible for any damage caused to club property due to negligence or misconduct.
5. Liability & Safety
5.1 Participation in pickleball activities involves inherent risks, including injury. Members agree to participate at their own risk.
5.2 The club is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages occurring on or off the court. Members are encouraged to have personal insurance coverage.
5.3 Members must adhere to safety protocols, including appropriate footwear, warm-up routines, and hydration.
6. Events & Tournaments
6.1 The club may organize leagues, tournaments, and social events. Participation may require additional fees.
6.2 Tournament rules will be outlined separately and must be followed by all participants.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Member information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
8. Amendments to Terms
8.1 We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation in club activities constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
